Purpose of the exercise Jagged Sword was to train HQ 1 (GE/NL) Corps in deployment and conducting Crisis Response Operations (CRO) using a reach-back concept and to train a Danish Division and 77 NLD Engineer Brigade as Field HQs in planning and conducting a crisis response operation with the full mission spectrum (“three block operations”) in a joint environment.

Exercise JAGGED SWORD was the second of two main exercises of 1 (GE/NL) Corps in its CJF LCC role in 2006.
